St. Matthew's Men meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from September through June.

The primary theme of the Men’s Breakfast is Faith, Food and Fellowship. We meet between 8:30 and 10:30 AM. We try to study and discuss relevant religions topics.

Past topics have been “The Making of the New Testament Cannon” and “From Jesus to Constantine: A History of Early Christianity” which were DVD courses from The Great Courses Catalogue. Last year we data streamed lectures from the popular site TED.com. All of these lectures had a religious or moral theme which prompted good group interchange.

This theme for this year will be “Bible Studies”. We are in the process of determining if this means studies about the Bible or within the Bible. Either way it will be thought provoking and will encourage group discussion.

We start with breakfast about 8:30 AM and begin our discussion topic between 8:45 – 9 AM. This allows for an hour to an hour and a half of interaction. This environment is very conducive to learn something new about your “Faith” while sharing “Food” with other church members to enhance your “Fellowship” experience.
